This one chugs along at a breakneck pace. A clearly-defined quest, a progression of lightning-based powers, and lots of grim and bloody battle scenes abound.
“Horse-Lords meets Highlander” is a rough but accurate summary so far. If that sounds appealing to you, this is an easy book to recommend.
