So I tried reading the other series by this author. Something ashes? I can't remember. All I can remember was a few pages in I realized it was a supernatural, teen romance and I dropped it faster then you could say, "twilight ruined vampires." This has some of the makings of a teen romance, but hell, it's got steampunk and magic so maybe it will have something worthwhile.
