Not sure why anyone would be afraid of
the inquisition. They are kind of useless with no back bone what so ever, but then again, the guild is pretty useless as well.

This is halarious and its not even a comedy.

Quick way to get me growling, drag out "the needs of the many" to justify an action especially during an all bad scene, and on the heels of a characters revelation of self deprecation. Took a break from this book and came back and already thinking of taking another break.

So over half way through and I don't really like the characters, the world feels cobbled together, and the plots been pretty meh. This is a world full of magic and yet the masters seem rather useless. I want to like the story, I plan to finish it, but....

Hey I just met you, and this is crazy, but let's magically bond all over each other because we had one night of sex.

Interesting so far, confused by the world but only on the second chapter so.... pbbttt.
