Like I *think* the history lesson might have finally halted but I can’t be positively sure.

It is so hard to see Tyson and Lang proceed this far into the book, having mentioned Captain James Cook twice and not see a single acknowledgement or mention that he was a monster. I hope it is eventually at least acknowledged.

This is an interesting History lesson, but it also feels incredibly incomplete. It’s a sizable book, and yet also achingly basic.

I’m getting the distinct impression this was written with only American audiences in mind.
