Either it's getting better or I'm just getting used to it... it's growing on me now.

I've tried, I really have, but I will do a little more skimming/speed-reading, and then I will call it a day on this book. It will be the first book I will ever allow myself to quit. As much as I love Christopher Plummer, the actor, I cannot accomplish his extremely thorough memoir. I feel like a failure.
