A little late to be coming to this realization now. Everyone told you to be careful marrying him. You knew he didn’t love you. (Everyone besides your airhead cousin that is)
All he did is pressure you to get married for “the baby’s sake”.

He’s so hypocritical. No he’s never thought about going anywhere else. Living anywhere else. But she has to. She has to move where the baby daddy is because he’s to misogynistic to allow that she might like where she lives near her family. It would be “too hard” for him to move. Utter bullshit.

This book is horrible. It’s really too bad because she actually has good writing but the story is just vomit.

She doesn’t want to marry without love but even in an interview is asked if she’ll be marrying the baby daddy because people are “conservative”.
Who cares?! It’s her life.

So not only didn’t he become hypocritical instead of merely oblivious but now he’s super condescending and telling her what to do with her body.

God his parents are awful!
No wonder why he suddenly became so misogynistic at page 30.
Ugh!

Oh and her cousin should have her back not forcing her to do something she doesn’t want to.

There are plenty of single parents in LA who aren’t lawyers and they figure it all out. Daycare, support, etc.

I was really enjoying it for the first 30 pages. But one thing that really kills it for me in contemporary romances is getting married for the baby/child’s sake.
There is so much research and studies these days that show the opposite is true.
Unhappily married parents do NOT make for a happy child.
