As I'm struggling with all the many ways I can re-write the first chapter of my book (#editingugh) what do I decide to do instead?
Purge my to-read shelf on goodreads of course.
(What I want to know is HOW AND WHY so many of these books ended up on my to do read list??? They don't even look interesting and I do NOT remember adding them.)

I have this problem too lol . . . I really should get rid of a lot of those books.

I was super proud of myself for paring mine of 2100 down to 1800. Still scandalously huge!
Wow, I relate to this so much. Have fun purging!
I usually try to add any recommendations from blogs, Youtube, etc. straight to my library TBR list, so occasionally I'll have books I order from these, that I wonder where on earth they come from and why I thought they were going to be good.
