Any recommendations for an almost 18 year old guy who likes dystopian/speculative or science fiction and WW2 (or other wars)? My brother got a good reads account and I’m trying to help him find more fiction to read. XD

Isaac Asimov, Larry Niven, Jerry Pournelle for sci-fi. Ray Bradbury for sci-fi, dystopian, and speculative, sometimes all at once like in Fahrenheit 451.
You're welcome! Touchstone by Laurie R. King is good speculative fic too, tho i haven't read the sequel yet. Shades of Grey by Jasper Fforde too. I don't read a ton of spec-fic and sci-fi, so that's all I can think of.I love WWII, but read more nonfiction than fiction regarding it. If he's into historical wars, tho, Charity Bishop's Tudor Throne series is engrossing.
For WW2, he could try Salt to the Sea by Ruta Sepetys. For some reason that's like all I'm thinking of at the moment, but I'll try to remember more. :-P (SttS is really sad/somewhat depressing, though.)There's also All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr, but that has what the movie ratings would refer to as "brief strong language". :-P
