I won’t change my original rating, but this is nowhere near as charming as I remember it to be. It’s far too repetitive and irritating and…what happened? Where is the book I read seven years ago? Have I gotten more cynical, or was I just writing off all of its flaws the first time I read it? Either way, it breaks my heart.
