I quit! I've tried reading it, listening to it....I just can't do it. Some books are just not for me. Of course I'm curious about it popularity with so many people of all walks of life but it's really not worth it. Life is too short to push on through with bad books. I made it thorough chapter 4 and I can sum up my take on it in one word......boring.

I'm restarting this as an Audible book. I've been struggling to get it downloaded and am on a free 30 day trial. I already tried Gilead...see my review. I exchanged that dud for hopefully this winner!

Wow! I just am struggling dearly to even care about anything in this story. It’s so completely wrong for me so far. This is s beloved book by many and I do want to get there eventually. I am going to stick with it and hopefully at one point it will click.
