An epic culmination to the journey of this series. There was more war & fighting and less of the romantic/sexy times (I missed this a bit) but the character development was incredible. Lysandra continued to shine for me, ever fierce. Aedion goy on my nerves though. Dorian never stood out for me until this book. He really came to life and also Manon grew on me. There were some parts that definitely had a LOTR feel.
