After reading a bunch this week, of Sumiko's family slowly disappearing. The U.S was not very pleased with the pearl harbor bomb. And They wanted to kill the Japs. I have just been reading weedflower lately and I have been seeing the ways that the Japenese-Americans were very hard workers. And did not have the most wealthy-like lives. I can relate this to ALWTW because both Salva and Sumiko would work very hard for their family, and produce goods.
