I requested this from the library cooperative without knowing I was in for a coffee table book. Wow. This thing is enormous and beautiful, full of photographs, and I like the scholarly yet personal voice of Mr. Vieira as he imparts fascinating information about the moral wrangling in 1930-34 Hollywood.
