Manages to mention historical figures in a way that makes the reader want to know more. Oftentimes, authors that mention real people have this cringe-inducing way of imagining the things that led to them being famous, like they might have Gutenberg in conversation with a hand-wringing abbot, who says, "Oh, if only there was a way to make the bible accessible to everyone!" This author does not do that at all.
