I thought this book was about history of surgery, not so focused on Lister’s history. But this is not a problem, as this man trajectory is brilliant and permeated with love for his profession and other people. I’m really enjoying the opportunity to get to know it, specially being in med school right now.

The only sad perspective of this book is the realization that we have the same medicine, today, in 2018, as we had in 1840s. Let’s change it. :-)
