I love that after the big reveal and all the training, whenever Eijun does anything successful or impressive Chris looks like a weird combination of proud father and boyfriend :DD

Can we appreciate Kanemaru though?? The guy started out strongly disliking Eijun's attitude, but after he saw him work hard and make it to the first string he completely turned around and became his biggest supporter!! He makes sure he eats, studies and stays awake in class, babysitting 24/7. He even volunteered to help him train at the risk of his own life, he needs an actual mask for max protection omfg :DD

I really like those two reporters, I'm surprised they've stuck around so long and ended up taking the role of the standard sports manga spectators who act as commentators for the reader.
