I'm getting frustrated because the character is supposed to be 20, but allows everyone around her to treat her like she's 12, danger or not, your Daddy can't ground you and force you to go places when you're 20 years old. I'm frustrated enough that I'm thinking about giving up on the story all together. No one can relate to an adult who allows herself to be treated like a child and considers it normal and acceptable.
