So far it's a fun mash-up of Victorian era literary characters (and monsters). I'd call it "Penny Dreadful - Disney version". It's reading a bit young, too. I'm surprised it wasn't listed as YA. Still, I'll take any opportunity to put Benedict Cumberbatch's face on a Sherlock Holmes character. 💕
