There's this thing I have. When I'm reading a book and it's wrecking a psychological element or storyline, I get rageface. Believe me, I allow for a LOT of wiggle room. A thing has to be butchered for me to lose it.

I don't understand why I've lost the chemistry I had with this series, but I'm bummed about it. Unless something brilliant happens during the last 15%, this will be the last book in the series for me. 😢
