While I'm thoroughly impressed with the historical details in this book, there are a few glaringly annoying issues I am struggling with:
- Insta-love. UGH. Why.
- POV errors, e.g. how can Diana possibly know exactly which of her many enticing scents Matthew is picking up at that moment?
- So much angry Matthew is irresistible?

I will keep reading because the plot idea is still captivating. Stay tuned...
