I'm reading the most thrilling of books at the the moment (one of my father's books) The Wilder Shores of Love. Briefly, written in 1954 it is about four women in the 19th century (two Victorian, one French and one Russian) who decide to break out of their backgrounds and turn to the East for adventurous lives and loves! It's such an exotic book!
