Uhhhh... OK. I'm going to finish this story (unless it becomes intolerable) simply because it's so short. But I had to stop at Chapter 7 just to say a couple of things.
First, the story reads like a YA novel for a young teen girl. It us meant to be "family friendly" according to the intro, but nothing indicates the intended audience in the Audible summary.

Second, the main character is taking her "sisters" to the 1904 World's Fair. At the train station she apologizes to them saying she has only $70, which is not enough for all of their tickets. (Her mother even made a point to say she already put enough $ in her coin purse.) A quick Google will tell you the value of that today is just under $2,000!! Oooookaaaaaay... 🙄
