I bought this book thinking it was a novel. Turns out it’s 3 stories about one character. Admittedly disappointed. The first story was predictable and the equivalent of looking at an artist’s sketchbook. It was clearly not formed and shouldn’t have been published. I’ve read a number of Sanderson’s books and decided to cut him some slack. I continued on to the second story which was much better and more interesting.
