One of the essential choices I made for the year (assuming it will stick) is that I will read one chapter a day of the Malazan Book of the Fallen and I hope this will allow me to get to the finish line. Plus, I get to spend time in this world every single day, until I get to the last chapter!

I cannot believe this series is not a tv show (or movies although I would prefer the former since it would allow the time to tell the full story).

What is there not to love about this book?
I even forgot how amazing Toc the Younger is - just a wonderful character!

I remembered this last scene so well, or so I thought. I loved the conversation happening around Paran when he is slipping away. Amazing!

The excitement of being back is so intoxicating.
