I'm surprised by how much I'm enjoying this book (I'll be honest - I expected it to be a bit dry). McMaster is doing a great job showcasing the traditions and, more importantly, the personalities involved in the lead up to Vietnam and how that led to both our involvement there and how it affected the shape of the military today. A great read so far.
