If Mary Shelley and Edgar Allen Poe had a baby she would be Emma Fern. The first part of this story is about a monster who kills her creator. Then as she gets away with it she feels the tell-tale heart of her victim. There are NO likeable characters in this novel. Each of them is narsasistic and manipulative. AND it is a great read. I could hardly wait to find out if these characters got their just desserts. Fun.
