Investigating a mysterious sea monster that's been on a killing spree turns Marinna into a murderous version of herself. Puck doesn't seem capable of stopping her. And even the mighty Namor The Sub-Mariner is being pushed to his limits by her...

Alpha Flight is able to overcome the revenge scheme and mutant fighting skills of Omega Flight (a group of former Alpha Flight trainees led by Guardian's nemesis and former business partner, Jerry Jaxon). But not before damage to Guardian's energy suit causes him to blow up. (spoiler alert, but it's also over 30 years now)

Snowbird, blinded by a snow storm (in a "snowblind") must battle by herself against an evil natural spirit guy.

Puck gets a solo adventure as, while being laid up in a hospital for being attacked by Marinna, he stumbles upon a scheme to steal medical pain killers.

Aurora and the rest of Alpha Flight have to fight against automated defense killing machines when they try to rescue Marinna from a spaceship that has melded with a pre-historic man.
