The point of view in this story affects the actions of what I know because this book was written in first person. I know how Corinne feels and acts during situations because she is telling the story. I don't know how the other characters feel becuase they are not the ones telling this story. I know more about Corinne than the other characters because she is telling me.

In the book "Where I Belong" there is an incident that provokes decision. Corrinne lives a big life in New York City going shopping at the most expensive stores everyday. When her dad gets layed off, Corrinne and her family are forced to move to Texas on her grandparents farm. She has to figure out how to live this new life style that she is not used to
