I enjoy reading about the culture and lifestyles from the 70s thru the present day. I’m 4 years younger than the women in this novel so my journey through adulthood has been very similar. However, I’m finding the characters are poorly developed. I don’t feel like I “know” them, which makes it hard to care about them. I want to see how it ends, but it’s not a book that will linger in my memory.
