Charles > Status Update

I decided to just give up on this novel. It's so long and the narrative just goes all over the place. People die, they come back, they have clones, they jump between dimensions of reality. I can see where this would appeal to certain readers, the world building is impressive and the magic system is pretty cool, but I find I just don't care about the characters, their clones or any of the struggles.
