This reads like it's trying to be a textbook titled _Comparative Mythology: Aspects of the Divine Feminine_. It's slow but meaningful. I've tried to read it before, but didn't get very far in. It's a bit obtuse and sometimes I have to say "yeah, that's a bit of a stretch." Still seems like a worthwhile read for anyone with a serious interest in mythology.
