Reason why I'm loving this book #78: pretty authentic drunk narrative. The narrator doesn't just speak drunk, he thinks drunk. No slurred speech mixed with clearheaded internal monologue here, no sir. Howie's thoughts are so all over the place, I'm getting a headache reading them.

"I make myself meet his eyes. They're green; I never paid attention before. This really light, interesting, intelligent green -- FUCK, this guy needs to STOP HAVING A FACE."

LOL! I get you, Howie. I feel the exact same thing with Michael Fassbender's face. We just have to try to live with it.
