Maidy is one of the WORST MC's EVER! I don't feel bad for her, only her family who will be torn apart because she didn't feel the need to stop what was happening until it was way too late. I am so pissed.

I'm just reading this in a confused state at this point, but I still kinda want to know what's going on or what's going to happen.

I am having a really hard time understanding what the MC sees in her best friend, what a garbage human being.

I can't tell if this is contemporary or fantasy.
