Book is beginning to turn into a bit of a slog. Endless reports of cabinet meetings, paper-shuffling, differences of opinion, various bits of deathly-dull double-dealing. I get that it's important to understand the subtleties of what's going on, but man, *Yaaaawwwwwn*

So far, so good. McMaster's writing is clear and concise, serious without being pretentious or overbearing. He is merely seeking to relay the stark facts.
