I'm pretty sure I would not like to meet any of the women in this book...on the other hand, I cannot put this collection of short stories down. It is a fast and fascinating read and, at times, I feel as if it is being channeled by a mean version of the delightfully funny Erma Bombeck. I usually prefer to like the people in the stories I read, but I just cannot look away...
