I'm going through this again because I wanted to understand why I disliked it when I *love* so many of his other books.

This book is tougher and more scatalogical. It's made to be read slowly. I'm going through chapters twice sometimes, to catch the nuances and sly, WRY, comments about life and living. It will take me some time, but this is much deeper than I gave it credit for.
