Omg, totally loving right now. The scenes of white fighters targeting black soldiers over in France during WWI, I totally believe. My own Dad's uncle, who served in the North Africa campaign in WWII shared stories that were kind of similar.

Love the premise of this novel. The beginning though is a little slow. Still the idea of Aphrodite sharing a tale of love with people from
WWI and WWII has my interest!
