Have to decide if I'm going to make it through this; it's due in two days and cannot be renewed.

I need to make a decision about finishing this soon as it is due back at the end of the month. I was really enjoying it until a major break in my routine combined with the reading of Gibbons' Nightingale Wood - and now I just don't seem to have much interest in finishing it. Silly, really. I'm 60% done; I should just finish it!

It's amazing how long these chapters are, considering the over-all length of the book.

It is my schedule that is responsible for the slow going, not the book - which I am enjoying very much so far.
