This was a very interesting story, I just didn’t realize until nearly finished that it was part of a duet. I knew it was the first book in a series, but somehow missed the duet aspect.
So....cliffhanger!!!
I plan to finish the duet as the story was intriguing for sure. The romance portion didn’t really begin until chpt 19. So...slow burn.
