“Then ye'll be losin' it,” Alban told him gruffly. Aldrus shook his head.
“Nah, I'd wager nine month's wages on the princess any day. Ol' Cedric doesn't stand a chance.”
Cedric glanced back at him, his lips pressed together in a hard line. “I thank you for your confidence.”
