‘You’, who is Beck, the object of the narrator’s obsession seems a bit dippy and her friends are awful (I could do without having to read their carry on). Jo himself is a crazy stalker but Caroline Kepnes deserves 5 stars for the first few chapters alone for capturing that astounding voice.

The beginning of this book is startling due to the voice of the narrator/main character. And even though I have read reviews of the book I was taken by surprise by that warped perspective and was to be happy to be taken for the ride.
