She got kidnapped by the bad guy—AGAIN!!!!!

I just love this authors—her characters and stories are so compelling and interesting, but she USES THE SAME PLOT POINTS EVERY BLOODY TIME.

Frustrating!! I try to leave months between reading each of her books, but I read each page thinking, “Is this where she gets kidnapped?”

Finished Covert Evidence—and no one was kidnapped!!!!!! I absolutely love the TH Lawrence element of the story. Rachel Grant writes the most interesting stories. The love interests are always great but secondary to the amazing settings and storylines. Another home run from Rachel Grant.

Finished Incriminating Evidence. Rachel Grant writes tight plots and great relationships better than most, but she MUST move on from the kidnap storyline!!! It’s in every bloody book she writes! That being said. I really enjoyed this one right up until the end when the baddie reveals that s/he has been doing some pretty messed up shit to people for a really lame reason. It didn’t really add up.

Rachel Grant always has the coolest settings in her novels. This one starts off in rural Alaska.
