I've never read anything like this. Sadly, not a compliment. The story is fine, but the writing style is awful. It tells rather than shows. I was wondering if it was just the translation that was bad, but I think it's the writing. In fact, the title must apply to the writing rather than the story. I won't be reading any of the sequels.
