I'll gladly take whatever this story is throwing at me. It's a piece of cake after reading The Flesh Cartel. BUT I don't get where the story is going. What is the purpose of it all??

I am just as confused as Daniel is. What is Carl's intention? It gets frustrating not to know anything. And maybe, just maybe, Daniel should simply try to ask what the plan is...

I totally understand Daniel's irritation. That guy paid 6 millions for him and yet Daniel still has no clue what he's supposed to do. I love how he stumbles through his days, always afraid of doing things wrong, yet nobody gives him instructions.

What a weird world. I wonder why there is no slave revolt or anything.

This is really fascinating. I'm not a fan of dom/sub themes, but when the story is set in a world where actual slavery is common, the scenario makes for a fascinating read.

The worlds and concepts Ms Heimowitz comes up with are both nerve-wracking and fascinating. I already know I will devour this story.
