I know from experience how wild and awesome the last 150 ish pages of this book, so I need to pick from right moment to sit down and digest it properly

i have this realization every time i read this book, but it’s just so starkly grim and brutal in comparison to other books in the genre, while retaining so much hope and heart. this is truly such an underrated gem in the world of sci fi and dystopia, and honestly a massively underrated book of sandersons.

not me bursting into tears everytime a character that’s going to die is introduced.

this is honestly one of the darkest YA books i’ve ever read and i’ve never really clocked that before

not the almost annual springtime skyward reread. this book is just so damn good. maybe this is the year i continue the series…
