I'm not sure about this book so far. Maybe it's just that I'm getting ~old~, but I'm having major issues with the main character. The story tries to jump in in the middle, but the lack of any buildup means that all action and romance feels false, as I was never given a reason to care for the characters. Kind of disappointing, as I'd read a lot of great reviews of this.
