I forgot to post a review of this excellent book because it led me away into its companion piece, a fictional portrayal of the same subject matter --namely, human hubris and what C.S. Lewis calls "the Curse of Babel." I am grateful for both versions, as they expose the futility of human effort absent the Guidance of God. Lewis lampoons it in the fiction (hilariously!) and slashes it with lucid logic in this version.
