An interesting squeal to containment. Equinox picks up instantly where the last book ended but then swerves into the lives and politics of the world fallen into disaster.

I enjoyed the story about as much as the first book but was disappointed that not much was done to develop the characters of the first book. They are mostly used to transition the story in a new direction.
