My earlier favourite character turned into a Mary Sue and I am pretty sure H is gonna be a griffin animagus and I am so not a fan of either. This is decidedly not cool.

Me and the author disagree on a whole lot of different issues. And I'm not just talking about characterization here, but fundamental reactions to base situations. If someone suddenly joined me at the breakfast table like that, I would probably react in the most introverted anxiously panicked way, and never ever forgive my... co-habitor... for not warning me first. In any way. Somehow. COMMUNICATION WOULD HELP A LOT.

The fact that this new seeker is just simply BETTER than Harry really tickles my pickles. She hasn't even been named yet, she's just real good!

I have some real issues with this one, but it caught me with one of my favorite tropes (not mentioned here or in the summary), and now I have to read further on and find out for myself if it's downhill from here. The main plotline trope of 'Snape adopts Harry' is a toughie for me, because it is near impossible to do right. This one ain't doing it. But I have hopes.
Also HOLY CRAP I've read 100k words already!?
