I'm thoroughly enjoying this. It helps that I find both aspects interesting: the memoir and the journalistic research of another, and also the area, its culture and history and nature.

So good. Not enough time to read though. Even though I now wouldn't eat most of the foods mentioned, the book is making me hungry.

I'm loving this. Great armchair traveling and history info, and an interesting story.
